DANNON® LIGHT + FIT® x FFC GRANT PROGRAM

For women founders who go after what they crave.

Dannon^® Light + Fit^® and Female Founder Collective (FFC) believe that women entrepreneurs should feel empowered to go after what they crave in life and in business. Together, in celebration of Women’s History Month, we are introducing a new funding opportunity for female founders. Through this grant program, five (5) qualified women entrepreneurs will be selected to each receive a $10,000 grant, a one (1) hour session with a select expert advisor through FFC’s NORTH platform, as well as a one-year membership to FFC’s 10th House.

Because when women go after what they crave, it's good for business.

There are over 13 million women-owned businesses in the U.S., but women continue to face institutional barriers related to gender bias and funding¹. 46% of female entrepreneurs faced gender bias when raising capital for their business² and of companies founded solely by women received just 2% of the total capital invested in 2023 in venture-backed startups in the U.S.³Despite the profound impact that female entrepreneurs make, they are still underserved when it comes to accessing working capital and the critical resources they need to grow.

By supporting women founders with funding, education and mentorship, Dannon Light + Fit is helping female entrepreneurs achieve their entrepreneurial ambitions.

The Details of the Grant Program

Application Period

March 8^th 2024 5 AM PST to April 4^th, 2024 11:59 PST.
Applicants will be notified on or around April 26^th, 2024.

Eligibility

To apply for the Grant, all applicants must:

Be a resident of the United States
Be at least 18 years old
Be a founder of a business that is:
- at least 51% women-owned
- legally registered, located, and operating within the United States;
- has been in business for at least (2) years
Not be an employee, officer, or director of Danone US, LLC or Female Founder Collective, LLC or any of their affiliates, subsidiaries, or agents
- Not have any conflicts of interest due to an affiliation with any competitor of Danone, such as by working for or providing services to any competing food and beverage company

The Grant:

Five (5) recipients will each be selected to receive:

A $10,000 grant
One (1) hour of mentorship through The NORTH
One (1) year membership to FFC’s 10th House
