About me
Victoria Thain Gioia is the co-founder and Co-CEO of Perelel, the pioneering women’s health brand delivering stage-specific prenatal vitamins backed by OB/GYN expertise and science. She co-founded Perelel in 2020 alongside Dr. Banafsheh Bayati (OB/GYN) and Alex Taylor, motivated by Victoria's personal journey—her second child was born with a cleft lip despite taking standard prenatal supplements—highlighting a critical gap in maternal nutrition support. A former investment banker and private equity professional, Tori earned her MBA with honors from Harvard Business School, and gained leadership experience through roles at The Honest Company, Olive & June, and Carbon38.
Under her co-leadership, Perelel has seen explosive growth—expanding its product line to 21 SKUs, achieving 600% year-over-year growth, and delivering 67 million capsules in 2023 alone.
The brand’s 1:1 giveback initiative donated $3.2 million in prenatal vitamins via the Good+Foundation, and in 2024 expanded its impact through acquiring LOOM to deepen its reproductive health mission.
