About me
Lori Gitomer is the co-founder and CEO of Whipnotic, a New York–based food-tech startup reinventing whipped cream with vibrant, flavor-infused swirls and a patented nozzle delivery system. Her career began in the world of media: Lori held executive roles in sales and brand partnerships at Creative Artists Agency and NBCUniversal, playing pivotal roles in digital content development and partnership strategies. In 2020, she co-founded Whipnotic with her sister, Dr. Tracy Luckow (the brand’s president and food scientist). The concept took root when Lori realized that the dynamic, colorful whipped toppings she loved from coffee shops were missing from grocery aisles. Since launching in 2022, Whipnotic has grown rapidly. It’s now stocked in approximately 1,500 stores, including major grocers like Target and Whole Foods. The brand has raised roughly $4.5 million to date and continues scaling—with an eye toward retail expansion and evolving its flavor lineup.
