Eunice Byun is the co-founder and CEO of Material Kitchen, a minimalist kitchenware brand launched in 2018 that marries thoughtful design with everyday functionality. Eunice left her role as Vice President of Global Digital Marketing at Revlon to build products inspired by memories of her immigrant-family kitchen—and a desire to create tools that are both beautiful and beloved in homes.
Her path to entrepreneurship reflects a blend of corporate strategy and personal purpose. After starting her career at Goldman Sachs and leading digital innovation at Revlon, Eunice recognized that family and meaning needed to come first. She channeled that realization into a brand built around simplicity, craftsmanship, and long-lasting value. Under Eunice’s leadership, Material’s products—from knife sets to cutting boards—have been featured in The New York Times, Oprah’s Favorite Things, Forbes, and GQ’s Best Stuff of the Year lists.
