Denise Woodard is the visionary founder behind Partake Foods, a pioneering line of allergy-friendly snacks driven by her daughter’s multiple food allergies. Tired of the limited—and often uninspiring—options available, she left a successful corporate career at Coca-Cola in 2016 to launch the brand from her car, selling cookie treats door-to-door in New York City. Denise became the first Black woman to raise over $1 million publicly for a CPG startup. Since then, Partake has raised over $7.5 million from notable backers like Rihanna, Marcy Venture Partners, HER, and CircleUp Growth Partners. Today, Partake Foods is available in more than 17,000 U.S. retailers, including Target, Whole Foods, Kroger, and Walmart. In 2022, the company was ranked #45 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies.
