Ashley Nickelsen is the Founder & CEO of better-for-you snack company, B.T.R. NATION. After Ashley lost both of her parents to rare forms of cancer at a young age, she became frustrated with all the sugar-laden snacks in hospital vending machines. Ashley took to the kitchen to create something better and built B.T.R. NATION into a multi-million dollar company across three different snacking verticals: protein bars, chocolates, and treats all based on the simple principal that you deserve best-in-class ingredients and less sugar. B.T.R. NATION made the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies list in 2025 and is on track to triple in 2026 thanks to a strong DTC strategy with double-digit MoM growth and several major retail launches.
